10th Annual Disabled Veterans Free Pheasant Hunt sponsored by Tails-A-Waggin and Camp Liberty
Veterans are invited to participate in the 10th Annual Disabled Veterans Free Pheasant Hunt at Tails-A-Waggin Acres Hunting Preserve in Marion, MI. The hunt will include the dates of September 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2015 (Friday through Monday). Veterans are asked to select one these dates and do there best to attend on their selected date. Because of travel distance, hunts will be scheduled at 9AM, 11AM and 1AM each day. The Sunday hunt is targeted for Vietnam veterans and we invite those vets for a special reunion day hunt with other Vietnam veterans. Tails-A-Waggin can accommodate up to 40 veterans per day so there are plenty of slots available for this hunt. The hunt includes free pheasant hunting, a free lunch buffet, guides with dogs and cleaning services if you want to bring pheasants home. All hunters will be escorted by guides and their dogs, so expect to walk for about 2 hours during the day. Bring your favorite shotgun or borrow one of our 12 or 20 gauge shotguns. Number 6 lead shot or smaller shotgun shells are recommended. Hunters orange caps are suggested.
